1. The Agreement
This agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of the YourLocalEats website and mobile application (the "Service"), which enables you ("You" or "Customer") to order food and beverages ("Items") from local Nottingham takeaways, cafés, and restaurants ("Restaurants"). By using the Service, You agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility & Use of Service
2.1. To use the Service, You must:

Have a functioning smartphone ("Device") and internet connection.

Be at least 18 years old (proof of age may be required for alcohol orders).

Use the Service only for personal, non-commercial purposes.

2.2. Alcohol Policy:

It is illegal to purchase alcohol under 18 or to buy alcohol for minors.

Restaurants reserve the right to request ID upon delivery/collection.

3. Orders & Payments
3.1. Payment Methods:

We accept credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal.

Cash on delivery may be offered but can be withdrawn at any time.

3.2. Pricing & Taxes:

Menu prices and availability are set by Restaurants and may change.

All prices include applicable taxes (VAT).

3.3. Security:

Payments are processed via PCI-compliant servers.

You are responsible for keeping payment details secure.

4. Delivery & Collection
4.1. Delivery Times:

Estimated times are provided but not guaranteed.

You must ensure someone is available to receive orders.

4.2. Failed Deliveries:

If no one is present, the order may be canceled without refund.

5. Cancellations & Refunds
5.1. Cancellations:

You may cancel orders until the Restaurant confirms preparation.

Refunds are issued at the Restaurant’s discretion for incorrect/missing Items.

5.2. Disputes:

Contact the Restaurant first for resolution.

Escalate to YourLocalEats within 24 hours via [support@yourlocaleats.co.uk].

6. Intellectual Property
All content, logos, and software on the Service are owned by YourLocalEats or its licensors.

You may not reverse-engineer, copy, or misuse any part of the Service.

7. Liability
7.1. YourLocalEats is not liable for:

Food quality, allergies, or Restaurant errors (contact the Restaurant directly).

Delivery delays due to traffic, weather, or Restaurant capacity.

7.2. Total liability for any claim is limited to 100% of your order value.

8. Data Protection
Your data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy ([link]).

9. Changes & Governing Law
9.1. We may update these Terms; continued use constitutes acceptance.
9.2. This Agreement is governed by English law, with disputes resolved in Nottingham courts.
